Why do vegetable taste so good?

Yes, but that's because they override all other flavors, sort of like all the spices the old english used to put in their food to mask the fact that the expiration date on the head cheese on the table was seven milleniae ago.

On that note, green onions are nice additions to anything 🙂

I don't think vegetables can compare anywhere close to the taste of meat. Top-grade of any kind of meat or even smoked fish can easily beat vegetables in taste....

However, I love yellow bell peppers raw, thats my only love of vegetables 🙂
