Why do the websites of like 90% of webhosts look the same?

Why do the websites of like 90% of webhosts look the same? Im not talking about when they are reseller accounts using the same template, but when theyre diffrent sites but they all have that big random images and lots of bubbly buttons and crap? It makes me wonder, ud think a hosting company would know better then to make a webpage out of soley images 😕

I love the pics of the random servers that the "company" has.

yea, it's very rare that they actually show a pic of their facilities -- but that's only because it's ridiculously time and labor intensive to keep a datacenter in tip-top shape.

I'd only sparingly use PNGs. Tell em I use lots of text because information is better than a bubbly website. And I pass the savings in cost of bandwidth along to the consumer.

Because 90% of the people who purchase web space like those things.

Just a guess.

I keep my websites painfully small. Just text except for some images in my case review.
