Why do techies paint their nails?

I've never seen a techie paint their fingernails, but some of the weirdo guys at our school have done weird crap like that before. I don't really care though, I guess if you want to go for individuality and look stupid while doing it, go ahead.

ppaik, that's a so-cal thing. I have a friend out there (Denny Martin, designs web pages) who does that. I told him it looks really freaky, and he told me I've been away too long. 😀

Because they aren't freaky and weird..

only techies i know that paint their nails also have piercings, listen to industrial/techno, and are into goth.

i think them being techies is purely a coincidence.
