You... Think you're smart? 😕

Any possible Freudian rationalizations are non-issue here... unless you know him better than I do... I thought I made this clear that I don't feel it's an issue between my buddies.

actually, this has almost always been a male-female problem with me. I'm not close friends with any guys who I wouldn't immedialtey differ to as more intelligent than me.

Blah blah blah. It was a joke, that was my point. It went way over your head.

funny asshole. really funny. :|

thanks for shitting all over a serious thread I started in complete and geunuine honesty

and I'm sure you wonder why more people don't speak from the heart around here and just nef and incite.

The problem with the intelligent is that they are often depressed and lazy, leaving the "normal" folk with all the day-to-day accomplishments.

Most truly great achievements are done by someone who is smart but somehow not lazy (maybe they didn't go through the public school system? 🙂)

Because you have shitty self esteem and need to make a thread about it to make yourself feel better then everyone else. I bow down before the.

If you had meant it in the spirit you present here, why didn't you proof read it? Sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between arrogant ass, nef, and serious thread because of horrid opening posts.

Plenty of people do "speak from the heart" here. It's a shame really.

Are you sure the original problem isn't with you and not with your friends? 😛

A college kid writing here....

They call people who are "smarter" than them arrogant and in the end, they just buckle under their own self esteem issues.... I don't get it. The dumber they are, the more arrogant they percieve more knowledgable people to be.

I'm talking about those sub 1000-SAT kids... the ones that by and large I end up dating and pissing off because they ask me to proofread a paper and then they cant take constructive criticism.... or the ones who agree with me politically on all of the issues, but when they want to play partisan (because its all they know) they percieve me as belitting because I keep calling out the facts and they don't know who the secretary of state is.... let alone the signifiagnce of a certain UN speech.....

I've always believed everyone had the potential.... I've always wanted to see the spirit of "no child left behind" in action.... I want the bell curve to be wrong.... but... you can't even confront one of these people about their accusations without them simply buckling under the weight of the argument you're presenting.

what am I missing here?

This guy must have a small wang.

I had an argument typed out here, but when I went to hit reply, I realized that you would simply buckle under the weight of my argument and that it wasn't worth the time. Sorry.
