Why do some people wear the same pair of clothes everyday?

When in high school, there was this guy who wore the same exact shirt and pants throughout the whole school year. Why would anyone do this?
 
Too poor to buy more clothes?

I bet he didn't feel too good wearing the same thing over and over.

Unless you mean multiple copies of the same outfit?

I remember he accidentally spilled some drink on his shirt. The stain was still there the next day. He's not poor because his younger brother is "normal".
 
Einstein did this, he said it saved on brain power.

I do this also... because I hate doing laundry.

I usually wear the same thing everyday, but its a company issued uniform.


And not the same exact one, I have like 12 of the same exact shirts and pants.

I'm not kidding. There are really people out there who are like this.
 
I still only have two pairs of pants... if I didn't think people would notice and get very disconcerted, I'd probably wear my favorite pants and shirt everyday. It's like being a video game character... it develops a very specific persona, and I like to stay consistent like that. And it takes so much precious brainpower to decide what to wear.

I'm completely serious.

Edit: And just to make it clear, I do wash my clothes. I just do laundry much more often than most.
