Why do some people run around with their mouths closed?

Dont they realize that it denotes a lack of intelligence?

Sure if your sitting or watching tv or just bumming along for an extended period might require less air intake, but sprinting or exercising is no excuse.

Am I wrong about this?

Sometimes it's easier to jog with my mouth open, especially when I'm nearing my limit.

You're supposed to breathe through your nose and exhale through your mouth, but I know people who do both through their nose.

Some people's noses simply allow for better airflow than others, thus there's no need to open their mouths.
Or perhaps they're not jogging near their personal limit, and thus don't need as much air.
