The Fl Supreme Court said the standard to be used is the one in Palm Beach. That means Gore is going to lose some 400 votes from Broward.
In Dade Gore had only gained 154 votes from the heavy Democrat parts of the county. The rest of the votes to be counted came from the precincts that went 55% to 40% in favor of Bush. Most of those being in the heavy Cuban populated areas. One thing that this recounting has showed far is that the undervote almost exactly follows the way the precinct voted. (*aka if the vote was 80% Dem, 20% Rep. The Dem would gain nearly 80% of the undervote from that Precinct*) And with nearly 50,000 undervotes from Northern Florida, there are plenty of areas Bush could gain votes from.
However, this is very likely to be overturned by the Us Supreme Crt. The cheif justice of the Fl Crt said that majority of the court was wrong and that the Us Supreme Crt will undoubtedly overturn their ruling because they did not base their opinion on any Florida law (*according the Chief Justice that is*) created before Nov. 7th.
