Why do some gays have to act so gay?

Fine.. if you want to get with other guys, go right ahead. But what is it that makes them so, well, gay? I see no reason for them to be waving their hands all over the place, talking in lisps, and other such things.

I know a few gay guys and most of them seem to act pretty normal. But then there are the other ones who work hard at keeping that gay stereotype going strong.

The same reason why a lot of straight people do the same thing. The girl who dresses like a whore so you'll notice her body, the jock who trys to act buff around girls and his friends so they'll think he is tough, the same reason why people brag about their accomplishments. It's all about advertisment and trying to impress others. I will never understand it, nor do I try to but there it is.

It's an instinct. Animals do the same thing. Has to do with breeding rights and dominance.
