Why do some Americans hate Canada so much?

I have noticed somewhat of a trend of "Canada bashing" in some of the threads I've read.

Are we a threat or something?
Seems to me being neighbors we should all just get along.

Case in point.....Middle East!


EDIT: BTW That tank that everybody keeps worrying about is just a rumour.

Because it's trendy and cool to pick on Canada. There really is no reason, and you won't get anything for your question but ignorant responses and more jokes. The canadians aren't trained worth sh!t, don't code tickets worth sh!t, don't do their job worth sh!t, and are a better investment for the company per the whole $.60 on the dollar and no paying medical benefits. :|

Personally, I don't like their left leaning ways, but that's not a real biggie. I feel sorry for them having to deal with the French inhabitants. On the whole, I couldn't imagine having better neighbors!

Not me. I have found people from Canada to be extremely friendly and kind people.
