Why do so many people think Dr. Paul isn't an anarcho-confederalist?

Consider that... Dr. Tom Woods is probably a speech writer for Dr. Paul (I heard that Dr. Woods probably ghostwrote at least part of Liberty Defined); that Dr. Woods' colleagues have said the Federalists meant that the current law binding America and the world meant whatever the Supreme Court says it does; Dr. Woods favors secession and nullification; that he favors the Confederation over the Federalist Republic; and that he invokes the Constitution to show that govts are lawless.

Dr. Paul is a genius... he knows that the Federalists were not anti-statist in any way other than by the rhetoric of most of them (Washington and Reagan were more similar to each other in that regard than any other President was) and I've given all of the evidence I need to give for the fact that he's not really a Federal Constitutionalist.

All of that said... why do so many people try to tell me he's not an anarcho-confederalist?

I just want to know why you keep bringing up Paul considering this is his final term in office.

This. Plus most people don't know or care what an "anarcho-confederalist" is.

A Anarcho-confederalist is obviously a pot smoking bircher neo nazi who thinks he is entitled to daddys money.

I delve into all kinds of obscure historical political movements, and I never heard of this shit. Probably more right wing "libertarian" think tank nonsense from lewrockwells corporate apologist crew I assume.

A rebel flag with a pot leaf and a dollar sign and pig snout would make a fine flag. Someone should photoshop one for them.

Ron Paul never struck me as being much of a deep thinker such as yourself. It probably hasn't occurred to Mr. Paul that he might be an anarcho-confederalist.

WOW. I don't think I've ever gotten so many rude insults... I guess I know for sure now that more people really hate me or at least didn't care if I died from farting fire. I didn't even think I was smart enough to piss people off that much... or at least that people were smart enough to not get pissed off or that bothered by me. The govt hasn't threatened the mods here from banning me, has it?

However, I always prefer the brutal truth so I sincerely appreciate it... perhaps I need more of it.

No one thinks of Ron Paul as that, everyone thinks he's an idiot with ignorant followers.

Thank goodness he's gone at the end of the year. No more of that idiot.

Say wha? This is possibly the least insulting thread you've started. Zero respect for Mr. Paul shown here and rightfully so but as far as insults directed at the person of your person, this thread has been rather mild.

If it's any consolation to you I have a good friend who is piercingly intelligent and believes, though he draws no implications whatsoever, that the data on the towers fall contains anomalous information that is simply goes unexplained and ignored. I myself can't look at data like that without assuming such data, if factual, would make me a candidate for the funny farm.

Do you have polling information that leads you to this thread topic?
No, but a lot of the people on facebook say he's a statist or they think that he does statist things that they like... for example, a lot of nativists like him for not being pro-amnesty or they think he's protectionist because he's against centrally managed trade even though the WTO is anything but free trade. Also, some of Johnson's supporters would never support Dr. Paul (and vice-versa).

Poor Dr. Paul deserves more respect than he's given and absolutely no disrespect, but he won't receive the former.

Just something to consider: don't consider opinions shared on facebook to be worth anything.
