I mean seriously. Is it just shovelling? Cold? What?

I think snow's great. I've lived in it before and the only part that sucked was shovelling. But the trade off is worth it.

EDIT: Added some pics from my trip to Denver 2 weeks ago. I'll be moving there soon, and that is what brought up this question. I'm just so tired of listening to people tell me how much I'll hate the snow. :roll:

its cold, the shoveling is a PITA, snow dirties everything up after its been a couple of days (clothes, car, etc), etc

I like snow, but couldn't deal with it for the whole year. I love Michigan because the 4 seasons are split up so nicely and so equally.
 
It sucks to shovel it.
It sucks to drive in it.
It sucks because it leaves building sized mounds in parking lots that you can't see around.
It sucks because it brings out snow plows which suck.
It sucks because if it's snowing it means it's cold which sucks.
It sucks because you track in slop and sludge when you get in your car or walk in a building.
It sucks because the highway dept. has to put down salt that rusts out your car and leaves everything a crusty white.

Did I mention that snow sucks?

Snow and cold are great. We just don't get enough any more. What we need is a persistent flatline of NAO, then WDC will enjoy a winter like Minneapolis. 🙂

I like it cold and usually won't put a sweater on until the temp drops below 20F unless there are winds but that's even better. Speaking of winds, how many of you have actually been to Mt. Washington?

Btw, it is possible to get too cold, just not in the Mid Atlantic. This is getting a little cold for my tastes especially if the fire goes out.
