Why do so many people believe (in error) that Lincoln was anti-central banking?

Every time you post I have to stop and marvel at the sheer amount of content you manage to cram into every single thought. Opening this thread is like downloading the entirety of Encyclopedia Brittanica directly into my brain. Not only that, but you definitely don't just post garbage that you thought of last period in your high school history class while you were drawing penises on your desk.

God bless you sir.

I usually avoid everything this kid posts, but for some morbid reason I stopped in this thread. Your post made my day. Thanks!

Who thinks this? Whole civil war was for his banker buddies to gain control of the Souths riches. You don't really think they cared about Black people do you? Only in alt history of today.

Answer 1: Because Lincoln was a radical Republican-but that was back when being a Republican was 180 degrees different than what is was today.

Answer 2: Maybe because Ron Paul is rabidly anti-central bank and he kind of looks like Lincoln-except a whole lot shorter and with a Texan accent and Paul's wife isn't crazy. Well maybe he doesn't look like Lincoln at all.
