I'd say a small percent of them are there because they really are freakish little sexpots that love what they are doing.

The rest of them are simply offered the red pill at some very low point in their life and it's a fairly quick and easy way to pay the rent, pay for the next hit their drug of preference, and maybe hit it big as a "star".

I think a lot of them are just preyed upon when they are very susceptable and can't get out because the money is too good for the number of hours/days a week/month that you work for it.
