why do ppl always offer lowball trades?

spanky

Lifer
example #1:

latrell sprewell & mark blount (his guys) for dirk nowitzki (mine)

how is this trade supposed to make sense for me? i already have SGs (jamal crawford, joe johnson, corey maggette) and SFs (joe johnsone, mike dunleavy, ak47).

example #2:

steve francis (his guy) for dirk nowitzki (mine)

this offer is much better then the last one, but still no where near even. i have baron davis and his backup, darrell armstrong. jalen rose can also play PG, and i have maurice williams from the bucks. besides baron, i don't have a stud PG, but they'll hold down the fort while baron recovers.

example #3:

jason williams, chris wilcox, bobby simmons, & raef lefrentz (his guys) for ak47 (mine)

this is an absolute garbage trade. 4 for one huh? that means i gotta drop 3 ppl on my team... all of which are arguably better then anyone of the players offered. do ppl even think before offering these crappy trades, or is it a blatant lowball.... hoping i press the wrong button and accidentally accept?

I hate it how people just throw in crap guys at the end of the trade to somehow give me an incentive to accept. There is a player limit.

i put "amare for trade" in my league

2 people have proposed lowball trades to me. i reject them and a few hours later i get another lowball. repeat.

Lol!

Dirk is pretty much the money man for fantasy BB. He's a utility guy with some of the highest points, rebounds, blocks, and steals in the league. He's the highest ranking player in the yahoo league and some of the guys they are offering barely even crack the top 100.

I wouldn't even bother to respond.

i wanted to offer back crappy trades... but i think it would be better to just let the offer sit on the table.... they'll log in everyday wondering if i was suckered into their bait.
