Why not run FreeBSD + KDE2 + Aquatic theme and you got a better OS that looks like OS X, since thats what everyone really want it for, and best of all its FREE and you can get it now.

Uhh...I am not even sure why the Mac people want OS X :)

I absolutely hate everything about the Mac series of OS's. Not that I am a huge fan of Windows, but I would take it over Mac OS anything.

It's an interesting alternative to MS Windows...

Noxipoo, not all people wanna learn how to setup Linux/BSD/Solaris or whatever you prefer, and thats where Mac OS X comes in.

I dontlike the current Mac OS's, but I must say, Mac OS X interests me, time will tell if it will be worth my time :)

OS X has a very user friendly interface and just simply looks good. Not everyone is a hacker in this world and not everyone wants to work in DOS :)

can you run that in Mandrake? if so, I WANT! hehe..

FreeBSD isn't a 'better OS', its the same thing, only it's not as user friendly (obviously) as Mac OS.

you can setup mandrake + kde2 (its in beta, final soon) + aquatic theme

aquatic is the best looking OS X theme so far, the others don't look like OS X that much.

I've used red hat + Enlightenment + the Aquatic theme, and it looks really really nice. :)

If you are too lazy (or too chicken ;)) to try Linux, then download the windowsblind skin for windows. Coupled with Litestep, it might look pretty good (might be slower). :)

As you can see from the screenshot, I can't stay away from the Enlightenment wallpaper. :)

Red hat came with KDE, but I stayed with enlightnment. Personal preference.

DaZ, you gotta be kidding me. Linux have more software then Macs. I'm pretty sure of this (not on retail stores, but alot of software online).

And why not get a Mac? The games come out faster than for PC. That and why build your own PC? It's much better when one company sells all of them.
