Why do people type 'poal' and 'moar'

I don't understand, maybe I'm too old. Just type the regular word, it's not funny or interesting at all. If you're just caving to social forum norms to try and fit in, well that's equally pathetic.

So they're typing it to piss others off? Why just those words...why not every word in the dictionary?

No idea about the "poal" but to me, "Moar" is a combination of "More" and "Roar." If you are really excited about the prospect of having more of something, then 'moar' is available. For example, you could say "we need moar nekkid pictures!" but you wouldn't say "Picasso is moar pleasant to look at than a pile of dung"

When texting, "poal" takes two less keystrokes than "poll", not to mention the issue of typing the same letter twice. It also takes one less keystroke than "pole". "moar" takes one less than "more", too.
