funny how the ones who spend the most time here seem to be the ones who care about the moral state of affairs the least... you'd think they would be the ones that would be interested in cleaning up the place...

as for it just "being the internet"... of all people, we should know that our society is becoming increasingly dependent on the internet and cyberspace in general... in the future, who you are online might factor into who you are IRL... just a theory, but if you buy into it, then we (people already using the internet etc.) could be like the first settlers in a future colony.

personally i've never been one to support the notion that it's "ok" to be some alternative version of one's self online... if you can't say it or wouldn't say it in real life, don't say it online...

lastly... some people are just sensitive. different people make the world go 'round... you can't really rip on them for that. your mommy might have been sensitive that one time she heard you wailing when you fell off your bike, which is why she went outside to check to see if you were alright instead of watching that crucial last five minutes of General Hospital. don't rip on sensitive folks - they actually serve a purpose by being bait for / rooting out the as$holes.
