Why do people still use UBB when they can have Fuse Talk?

I just don't get it. Isn't Fuse Talk a little less expensive than UBB is?

I really can't wait till the whole internet just switches over to Fuse Talk based message boards.

The most expensive license for UBB is 4300. > 300 people, corporation, non-expiring license. $249 for a non-expiring non-profit license which is what I bet alot of the forums are using. Fusetalk is $2000 for the full monty, but, IIRC, it requires ColdFusion as a backend which costs anywhere from $1300 to $5000 for the enterprise edition. Quite a bit more expensive than a simple UBB license.

;) And some Domain Servers don't have support for CFM. UBB is great for light traffic. I like it. Honestly, I think fuse talk looks like hell!!

Lets not forget there are alot of copies of ubb out there......many people don't buy intel or amd....they'd just steal one if they could, thats what alot of the ubb boards out there are I think. I imagine there are far fewer copies of fusetalk in circulation on teh warez scene.
