Why do people still hunt whales for their meat?

because the whale sounds are an ancient language that reaches far out into space. when the whales stop talking to the space aliens, the aliens get very worried and come over here. The massive gravitational pull from their starships would disrupt the atmosphere on earth causing massive flooding and blocking out the sun.

I know.. why can't we hunt and kill anythinh we like. I'm sick and tired of the zoo telling me what I can eat and cannot eat. Why can't I roast a dolphin on a open fire? Or have some horse hamburger, maybe even a hedgehog BLT.

Whales are not farmed while cows and chickens are farmed. Whales take a longer time to mature than cows and chickens. I think the blubber is used to make cosmetic products and I think in the old days people used it to light their oil lamps.

I wasn't aware of the blubber being eaten for food.

As far as I'm aware, you can't get whale meat in your local supermarket. So I suspect that if you had a hankerin' for whale meat, you have to go kill it, right?

Our commercial meat industry allows [some of] us the luxury of feeling superior to those those 'lower' human forms who procure their own meat. Ah yes, what a nice arrangement that is....

"I don't understand how people could kill animals like that. Its barbaric. These people must have low IQs or something. Could you pass the A-1, please?"
