Are we that lazy that we can't walk a couple of extra steps that we have to sit in out car, signal and wait for minutes for the other car to pull out of the parking slot when there are plenty of empty parking spaces 2 or 3 slots down. While sitting in my car the other day, I saw one lady finished parking and noticed the next slot (which is closer to the store) was empty and so she pulled out of the slot she had finished parking and proceed to park in the other empty slot. I can't believe my eye. It's me or does this bother you? If you are one of those people can you explain WHY?

i've seen this happen plenty of times and laugh every time. i get out of my car, start walking toward the store and smile at the person still waiting in the car for the 'awesome spot'. walk 20 more feet, sheesh.

yeah, but you're closer. You win! You are better than all the other suckers who parked further out.

I've noticed it, but it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers you...apparently anyway.

Its like the people who drive around for 10 minutes looking for a spot closer to Mall door. That 60 second walk isn't going to kill them, but still they want to be closer...

Exactly. Drives me up the wall when i pull into a parking lot and its congested with all the losers driving around for 20 mins looking for a door spot. As a rule i always park farther out so that i dont have to back up to leave nor do i have to worry about some loser opening the door on my car.

OMG, I saw the absolute case of this yesterday. And OF COURSE it was some cell-phone-jabbering, SUV-driving, "no-one-exists-but-me" bitch. She kept a line of 10 cars stuck and waiting for more than 5 minues while she stopped and waited (without signal) for another car to pull out so she could take that spot. The irony? As she soon as she finally parked, I immediately pulled into another spot that was closer, and there were a ton of empty spots, all of which were closer. :| :| :| :disgust: :|
