Why Do People Sign Their Posts with their Nick?

I always have done, probably always will do. Take a look at almost every one of my posts, and I did right from the very start, even back when my nick here was ConfusedBW.


It also helps if i'm at a friend's place, and post something from their account if they're already logged in.
