why do people shake hands?

Shaking hands if just gross, I wish people wouldn't do it.

I see men in the bathroom at work, they don't flush, don't wash their hands, but shake hands.

Gross.

Yup and I watch people cough right into their hands and then shake hands with other later. Or people with sick kids and they wipe the kids nose, get who knows what else on their hands then go shake hands.

Shaking hands is gross and unsanitary. All it does is spread germs. I don't do it anymore. I find I get sick a lot less.

That's pretty uncivilized. Who the hell shakes hands using their right-hand to the other person's left-hand.

kinds of handshakes
1. The limp dead worm or dead fish
2. The overly aggressive gorilla shake
3. The early snatcher (he grips your fingers)
4. The uninvited guest (he never lets go)
5. The black man (You are white, you may know what you are doing, but chances are the one time you go for the black man, the other party will go for the white man shake)
6. The old friend (You forgot how to do it with your best bud, so don't bother)
7. The two hander (it's a hand hug)

I've done the uninvited guest on occasion, when I intentionally want to show someone I'm crazy and want things to get awkward.

I work sales and if they try to shake my hand I HAVE to shake it. I am a bit of a germaphobe so I wash my hands after but what pisses me off the most is a limp handshake. Why the #$%@ you make me shake your hand and then do a limp one?
-_-

Another germophobe?
