Why do people put Autobot decals on their cars?

I have a silver car and I found a silver Decepticon sticker I put on the back of my windshield centered at the top. In the Texas summer, though, it only lasted a year. This was a few years back. I have not put a new one one becuase (a) I am sure summer would kill the next one and (b) when I did it a few years ago I never saw another car with it, I was original!

Because - Transformers, fvcking, rock. End of story.

I loved Transformers as a kid, and so did a lot of other people, so they communicate with the simple decals stating "I still recognize the Transformers as the awesome force they are/were"

A friend of mine is a chemical engineer and his first job out of college gave him enough money to afford a nice apartment and a 4-Runner. He put a Decepticon sticker right on the front windshield. I'm like, "You buy this car that's nothing but a status symbol-type car, and yet you put a Decepticon sticker on it?"

The best part is, while other 4-Runner owners WOULD wave at him (sort of like how all Jeep Wrangler owners wave at each other), they'd usually figure out what the sticker was and stop waving very quickly.

I never knew anyone would wave at anyone unless they were trying to flip them off..

I hadn't thought about this. It would be the perfect accessory for my Beetle, since it's yellow and all. Of course, if I put it on the top like it is on the Bumblebee toy, no one would ever see it.

I don't know...kind of a cool retro-pop culture type thing. I bet after the Transformers movie comes out this year, you'll be seeing those everywhere.

True Fritzo.. kind of like the "Save Ferris" t-shirts in the 80s... there is a Transformers movie coming out this year? in Anime I hope...
