Why do people own people?

Unless you need it for work, (ex. cotton pickers, cleaners) or something, I see no purpose to owning a person. They are stupid, ugly, and usually the owners are of a certain "persuasion". I see alot of these in the suburbs staring at me, and I am just annoyed by them.

I can understand why one would want a small Asian (good at math and generally quiet), and I fall into this camp myself. But why would you want to essentially chop your income in half and leave your house all dirty and smelly? Not to mention the early morning walks and the noodles you have to pickup!

it's a valid question, though more appropriately applied to his brother. GA selectively trolls, parodies, whatever...but is otherwise OK, it seems.

His bro (persona?) is a class 1 D-bag, however.
