Why do people like parades?

I always thought they were stupid and boring, and yet the streets are lined up with people watching the moving bilboards.

I don't. You gotta stand around outside for hours and it's boring and hot and crowded.

Thank God, I am not alone. People are always like, "You want to go to the parade?" I tell them "No, I hate parades." Then they act like I am crazy or something.

I totally agree, not that it really matters. I have to work all weekend. Now the fireworks on the other hand are pretty cool.

places where there are no people around

Fireworks are the best. I just can't stand the people that go Ooooooooo, Ahhhhhhhhhh. I just sit there and mumble STFU, STFU, STFU, STFU, STFU.
