Why do people like 24?

Never was too fond of it, but then again, I've never really sat down and watched it except a few hours of it on a 13" charter bus screen and muzzled sound.

I watched an episode of CSI Miami on my 61" HDTV in 720p. That show was so unrealistic and lame.
 
The show is just brilliantly directed and scripted. I have never, ever, seen any show as intense as "24." Simply put, the show is phenomenal and amazing. It is the only thing that I have found to be worthwhile to watch on mainstream network television.

Although I would be torn to decide between 24 and The Shield. Both shows are awesome.
 
what i don't like about 24, and its the ONLY thing, are those stupid elisha cuthbert scenes. Seriously, they are pointless, and most of the time has nothing to do with the story. I don't watch 24 regularly on tv, I'm not patient enough, nor do I have the time. I have them on DVD and I alwasy play the elisha cuthbert scenes at at least 4x speed.

she hasn't even been on the show for the past 2 seasons.
 
I think every1 likes it so much because there is one dude (jack) who kills like 10000 people with his 9mm (which never runs outta ammo) in only 24 hours! 😀
