Is it a pride issue? When the majority of opinion is against you, and there exists expert opinion that you are wrong, why do some people persist in trying to push their opinion? In other words, why can't some people just admit that they are wrong? Don't these people realize that they are making themselves out to be the laughingstock of those around them?
