And I say people "here" b/c I've never heard the term used outside of the forums, plus when I look it up I get the definition:
ric·er (rsr)
n.
A kitchen utensil used for ricing soft foods by extrusion through small holes.
Which I know you guys aren't talking about. So lets examine this. From my observation someone is a ricer if they put stickers, cheesy spoilers, and other exterior modifications that may give the impression their car is faster, more stylish, and overall puts out a higher performance than your average car. Normally driven by young men.
So I don't understand where the origin of the word "ricer" comes from. Why not call them wannabe hotroders, or pseudo racers? Perhaps I'm missing something here. But right now it doesn't make sense.
Next week, I will discuss why the word "library" should be changed to a word with "book" in it.
