any program that tries to take over every type of file on my machine (by default) and then doesn't allow me to do a 'deselect all' is a pos. why should i have to uncheck 35 file types to run a freakin' .rm file.

the software was programmed to say it's "user error" when you don't have it installed. i don't support software like that.

i'm all for real alternative and quicktime alternative.

real alt but when you stream anything from a slow server it'll buffer. it doesn't matter what media player you use.

I used it when it first came out, and it sucked pretty badly. That was before broadband was available to the masses. I stayed away from it for years after that, but finally gave it a chance again to listen to talk radio at work, and it does the job alright. I wouldn't pick it over anything else though.
