Why do people eat grapes without paying for them?

What people don't seem to understand is the difference between asking/being offered and helping yourself. My mother had the Gibbs slap down and to this day I still cringe when I see people help themselves and imagine the slap.

Whenever I see people do it they look less like they are genuinely curious about flavor and more like they are trying to surreptitiously help themselves to a snack.

I don't think many Americans realize how much pesticides are used on grapes, especially imported grapes. Enjoy that residue cheapskates!

They must be losing tens of thousands of grapes per year.

If you only knew how they produced CPUs... and how many of those go to "waste" too.

There's a lot of waste in produce. Customers wanting to try something was insignificant compared to what gets tossed out.

I think that this is the truth.
