Just got a call from a customer running Windows 2000 server.
He removed NTFS permissions for "system" to all the files on the hard drive.
*sigh*
Me: "Sir, you just denied the operating system permissions to its own files."
Him: "Oh."
Me: "Is this a domain controller?"
Him: "I think so."
Me: "Is it the only domain controller in the domain?"
Him: "I think so."
Me: "Sir, you are in a world of hurt."
