The only time I park further away is if I don't see a spot near the store. Which is usually the fault of some big ass SUVs blocking my view of any parking spots. But if I see a spot I'm parking as close to the place as possible. I'm a lazy bastard and never even considered anyone looking at me or thinking about me. Don't they have anything better to do? Like stock the stuff I need on the shelves? Is it me or are some of these stores managed by buffoons? I go into a store and half the stuff I need is OOS because the monkeys in there are too busy gossiping rather than stocking the shelves. I mean I can see the damn label for it but there's none left! Damn slackers! I went into a CVS recently and they had no Coke or 7-up. WTF? They had every friggin crappy soda imaginable but the 2 I wanted. They had Pepsi, but I DON'T WANT PEPSI! it tastes like carbonated molasses. I would have settled for Sierra Mist too but they only had diet! Diet soda tastes like industrial waste! Like some cleaning product or something.

I don't think I've ever done this. I refuse, however, to drive around for any length of time looking for a close spot like so many people. If the parking lot looks full I'll take the closest spot I see. I never drive up and down looking for something closer or hoping someone pulls out. Most people waste more time doing that than if they just parked in the first open space and walked their lazy ass to the store.

Oh I know... people that do that piss me off.

One time I actually was stuck behind some bimbo in her pretentious SUV (or maybe the bimbo was pretentious, I can't be bothered for details) as she waited, in the middle of the aisle of course, for a car to back out so she could take that spot. Finally... the car leaves and she starts to pull in. But then, a car on the other side of the aisle but one spot closer to the building starts backing out, and I back up to let this car do so. The bimbo in the SUV, seeing this, suddenly backs out of her spot.. almost hits me... almost hits the other car... honks her horn... and slides into that "new" spot that was "one" space closer. I wanted to rip her head off and make her eat it for being so friggin stupid.

You slay me!!!
