Why do people complain sooo much about the price of gas....

yet I don't see people hesitant to spend $5.25 on a Corona at the bar.

Hmm, gas is about $3 for a gallon

yet bars are packed with people paying $5 - $10 for 12 oz or less of alcohol.

Fill me in

Two completely different things. I don't mind spending $20 for a few ounces of a good smelling cologne.

Because everyone doesnt go to the bar. You dont need a beer to get to work(maybe some do lol). You dont need something..a lot of people NEED gas.

life is boring, people need something to bitch about

there is also the bandwagon effect

not to mention all the hybrid pimping propaganda

it all just feeds itself

I wonder why he didnt also use the price of cigaretts...somker maybe? That is also another thing people should stop buying to save for some gas money. Especially those that smoke 3-4-5-6 packs a day..

I'm sure you can find something in your monthly budget that is a pure luxury that you could cut down on to help pay for gas. The problem with people today is they have had it WAY to easy for WAY too long and consider most luxuries needs. You would be amazed at what people got by WITHOUT just 40 years ago.

why do people feel they have to start a new thread about gas prices every ten minutes...

and everytime there is a post like this in one of those threads it brings it right back to the top 🙂

I thought all that too until I equated the price of gas to minimum wage. After taxes it takes nearly an hour of work to buy one gallon of gas.

I don't drink alcohol or smoke, nor do I buy bottled water. I also never print on my own ink (always at work or a university lab)

Do I get to complain, now?
