Why do people complain about the X800 series being too slow already

does that better useage come with more impact on performance? or about the same as last generation.

bullshit , l dont believe it , l own an x800 pro two of an xt and an xtpe all x800 range all still crack fine, ok ok my 7800gtx is better , but the x800's still ROCK.

Probably around the same as the X850XT PE, not sure. Check out HardOCP's preview for some X1800XL/7800GT bencies

And here's a comparison screenshot.

X800's look more like the 7800GT, the blurriness toward the end of that slanted wall.


I'd sniff around AT for benchmarks of X850XTPE vs. X1800XL; I'm sure they're around here somewhere.

It's fine right now but i am getting a 2005fpw for x-mas so that means that i am going to have to play games at native res which means i will only be able to play a couple games nicely. later on video card upgrade for bf2
