Why do people buy DVD-X-Copy and crap like that?

I don't believe Nero takes care of the CSS issues; DVD-X-Copy and such programs will do the DeCSSing needed to burn back an unencrypted file, and make the appropiate changes to the files on the disc where nessisary.

DVD2One is amazing, you should use that... it's pricey, but converts dvd9 to dvd5 and burns in under an hour with no noticable quality loss. That is something that I haven't found freeware for yet, and I've been around the block on this stuff.
