Why do people browse the web in portrait mode??

That my eyes are bad? I said I couldn't comfortably read AT home page in portrait on a 4.3" phone with the standard text size without pressing the phone to my nose. Judging by the size of the text, about 1mm, if that, I think my eyes are fine.

I still don't understand why people would deliberately make text that small to save on a bit of scrolling, it seems daft to want to see say 5+ posts on a forum page all at once on such a small screen. That's just my opinion though.

No, you said earlier that if someone can read it, they must have superhuman vision. Then you balked when someone said the reverse - that if you can't, you must have bad vision. They're essentially the same statement just from reverse viewpoints.

And yes - people with perfectly normal vision can read these alignments you're so bemoaning.

No, they're not. My vision is somewhere between superhuman and bad, or as I like to call it, 'average'.
