I'm curious, as my point is not to discourage education, bettering oneself, or attempting to understand the universe. My point is, just because you understand these things better than someone else does not give you any right to be an arrogant prick about it.

After reading some replies, however, I realize that some people are completely fine with being said prick.

I guess the only thing I can say is I'd rather live in a world of uneducated yet loving people than one filled with educated assholes. But hey, that's just me.

And GagHalfrunt, I totally agree with you. However, I suggest you read this. The replies in that thread, along with similar attitudes in many other posts over time have led me to feel the way I do.
