Why do people always come back to school from home with a lot more stuff than they had before?

Like...why do people go home..and bring back TONS more stuff than they had originally left with??

argh....so much stuff...all still in my car...so heavy!!!

Because we move to a place with a bare minimum of belongings, with a lack of accumulated crap; after six months or a year of living in a short term environment, we're forced to move again with all the newly acquired crap.
