Why do nvidia cards require the refresh rate fix

There is a refresh over ride in the detonater driver properties , I have mine set to 85hz on most of the resolutions.

Otherwise use Refresh Force (aka reforce) to set and forget.

It's the vsync that keeps coming and going between driver versions that ticks me off. That's why I switched to a Radeon 9800, and gave my geforce 4 to my kids. Other than it being faster.

My radeon 9800 pro always used 60Hz in games too...
I don't see the difference :confused:

You switched to ATI for driver stability?
