You can take them at home, or during break or what not, but nothing feels as refreshing as the ones you take in class.
Didn't get enough sleep so I slept in my first class of the day, and yeah.. I feel better now. 🙂

well, then if we are going to tell stories...
high school college alebra teacher used to keep a roll of duct tape around... anyone that fell asleep he'd get a student on the side of the sleeper to assist him in duct taping him/her to their desk (above their back, below the desk, above their back, below the desk...) until they woke up.
I only saw it once but it was quite humorous.
Not nearly as funny as the guy who fell asleep in one of my junior high classes and pitched a Levi tent while snoozing. Fear of random wood and the subsequent mockery always kept me awake in class. 😛Originally posted by: EngenZerO
I saw the funniest thing this morning during one of my classes. This guy fell asleep in class and had his head propped up with his hand. Next thing you hear...smack. The guys head hits the desk and he shoots awake. The entire class began to chuckle.
yes, sleeping is class = best sleep evar.

I've given pop quizzes when students were asleep or not paying attention.... free points to the rest of the class... (and a zero to the person not paying attention.) If I'm writing on the blackboard (or more often, the overhead projector), I just write: "be quiet: pop quiz. 1. What is your name. 2. What is the answer to: <question that is still left on the overhead for their notes> The awake and attentive students love to make fun of the kids who just got zeros.
Once, I even wrote: "raise your hand and be quiet for a hundred quiz grade... leave your hand down for a 0"
