Why do my Hard Drives show up as Removable?

I have as my C drive 2 hard drives in a Raid 0 configuration. I also have a 3rd hard drive for my D drive.

My problem is that all these hard drives show up as Removable Drives with the 'green arrow' drive icon in my systems tray in the lower right of my desktop.

I would really like it so that my hard drives didnt show up as removable drives in this icon so that I don accidentially disconnect them.

Is this standard any time you have Raid or is there some setting here that is messed up?

Thanks.

It could be a problem in the BIOS. Check your motherboard manufacturer's site for an update.

Think about it - SATA drives ARE hot pluggable and removable. That makes the entry proper. You want it to be incorrect? :)
