Why do my games look [redacted] ?

My new Graphics Card arrived today ( r9 280 ) and even though i can run ultra settings smoothly it still looks [redacted]. For example in Fallout 4 when the guy calls to the door at the beginning his lips look like a character from Spyro or Crash Bandicoot or something.

We might need a bit more to go on - more examples of the problem.

Your description seems limited to an artistic disagreement with the style of one particular game, and doesn't seem related to an actual technical issue.

You're going to need to give a lot more information. It kinda sounds like you just somehow expected games to turn photorealistic by upgrading your graphics card... Can you take screenshots?

If it looks different then how it did before you might need to set texture filter quality to High in the driver(if you haven't already)

Fallout 4 is an ugly game. No amount of GPU power will save it. Just go on Youtube and check out some maxed out footage of Fallout 4 and compare it to your system.

Fallout 4 uses a VERY old engine, and the game looks like junk. No graphics card is going to make it look good.
