why do my connection speeds increase on Kazaa?

Whenever I'm downloading on Kazaa, I found that my connection speeds increase quite a bit when I connect to the net?

it has nothing to do with surfing the net. It either finds more sources (other computers...represented by a "+" mark to the far left of the screen) or the user you were downloading from has freed up some bandwidth (probably by users finishing downloads on his computer or him killing off some downloads).

I'm telling you, I find that whenever I'm on Kazaa, if I surf the net, my speeds go up. It must be able to find more resources or something.

you should look into getting the "Fasttrack Accelerator". It can be found here (right click, save as). While looking for the fasttrack accelerator link, i came across Sharemonkey. Does anybody know what it is?
