Been in Vietnam for about a week, and there's currently no less than 30 bites all over my body. About 20 was gotten during a hot shirtless night with no protection. . .

What's the most that you've ever had?

Dude it's Vietnam....did you not expect to get chewed up by mosquitos??? Hope you don't get Malaria.

I've never had a mosquito bite. I've seen them land on me then fly off, and once I thought I saw one stick his probiscus in my arm, but it flew off shortly after and I never got a bite mark of any kind.

I heard that if you drink a lot of Tonic, mosquitos will leave you alone.

LOL I wish... mosquitoes love me more then anything else. If you got it bad, stand next to me, I garuantee they'll leave you alone in favor of me. I'm a magnet for them. I've sprayed off, sat next to a citronella plant, AND had an off citronella candle sitting between my legs and I STILL get bit. I once was sitting like this on the backporch of my parents place during a party they had with about 30 people in the evening a few months ago. Everyone thought I was wierd because they weren't getting bitten by mosquitoes at all. Yet, I was still killing them as the were crawling on my skin. I went home with a dozen bites despite the "protection." There were other people at the party saying, "They usually always go for me and I don't have anything on me so why are you hovering over there around the candle?" Then I show them the 5 mosquitoes crawling up my leg and they look at me amazed. Seriously, I have yet to meet another person that will draw a mosquito off me to them. The only good thing? The bumps go away in a few hours for me now since I think my body has becom accustomed to the allergic reaction of their saliva.

I have 22 on one leg that I counted. I cycle too much at night. Plus, I worked on my car all night last week in h-town, so you get the idea.

They also see in the infra-red range, so cool yourself off, disguise yourself in a coating of cool mud just like the governor of california when he fought off that predator when he was in vietnam.
