When I edit a post to add a link (using the http button) the link appears at the end of the post, and I have to copy and paste it to where I want it. Why is this???

Due to browser constraints you cannot position text within a text area. The WYSIWYG editor does allow that but its a COM object and is only IE.

File your complaint with the W3C and ask for it to be supported be all major browsers completely cross-platform without any changes for specfic browsers.

JC, hehe. It's a shame you know. We have a few predominant browsers out there, all good in their own right. But none are the same, some are innovative and do thinks a bit different. Some want to abide by every law the W3C set down. If they could all agree and share innovation, work towards one standard tool there could be so many interesting possibilities with user interaction and the web. It will get better, just takes time.
