Right now I'm condo shopping. I want a condo in the city with good transit and I don't want to pay more than 100k for it. Suburbs make this possible. Other people living outside of the city means I can afford to live inside the city. Places that have physical boundaries to prevent suburbs are a complete disaster Places like Manhattan and pretty much all of Japan. My 100k condo in a city that has suburbs is probably 10x bigger than a 200k condo (or broom closet) in Manhattan, assuming such a thing actually exists.

The war against suburbs is the very definition of class warfare. People on the top like Hillary Clinton do lines of cocaine in their 10 million dollar penthouse. Making land impossibly expensive to buy does not affect them at all, but it affects regular people like me, Hal9000, Spidey07, and all the other sane members of this forum.

it's all part of agenda 21 and AB 32 in california. this is what happens when eco-KOOKS are allowed in the public policy loop.

Liberals want to have state enforced multicultural enrichment. There's not enough minorities in the suburbs so they "encourage" people to move to the cities with gas guzzler taxes, etc.

Well, first they tried to 'encourage' people to move out of the cities for multicultural enrichment but the Detroit experiment failed

How did a thread about real estate turn into a race war on the very first page? This is class war, not race war.
