Why do IBM 34GXPs cost so much more than 75GXPs?

On pricewatch, a 30gb 75GXP costs 137, and a 34.2gb 34GXP costs 249. Why the big price jump? The 75 is far superior to the 34.

This is often untrue. At best buy, for instance, they had both versions of terminator 2: judgement day. They had the &quot;Metal Case&quot; one, the new one with extra features and remastered sound, and it was LESS EXPENSIVE than the old one, which they were still selling! I accidentally bought the old one assuming more expensive = newer... I of course was very aggravated with BB once I discovered it was the old one and it was more expensive!
