Why do I see my cursor blinking on my crosshair in CounterStrike?

I noticed that when I use the Night Vision in Counter Strike that I see my white windows cursor blinking right next to my crosshair. When I don't use NV I used to never see it. Now its always there. Anyone else ever hear of the problem?

Are you running any programs while playing CS? If so try turning them off.

This happen to me with an Epox 8KHA+ Mobo if I cranked the FSB above 145, There was some info on amdmb.com about it. I think it was also only with Win 98, win XP solved it for me.

hit Esc, then click Resume Game. That should take care of it.

Heh, why the hell do you use Night Vision? When I used to play, my cursor would only blink if there was a lot of CPU/Hard drive activity...
