Why do I need to constantly change the port in Azureus???

Azureus under tools and Nat/Firewall configuration mentions a port. You can do a test to see if the incoming tcp port works fine right. Well, on the firewall I set a port but I have to change it about every 5 minutes else it always comes back with an error message.

Is there a way to get it to work and not screw up its port every few minutes?

I'm not sure if I understand what problem you are encountering... an error from Azureus?

I use Azureus and I have been using a different port for several weeks now (in fact most people recommend you never use the default port) and never had any problems with it. I used the port-forwarding section of my router's admin pages to have requests to that port forwarded to the computer with azureus. Are you openign your port with the application trigger method? If so, switch it over to the explicit port forwarding method, it might resolve your issues.

Its that the application uses a port that is not fully open, the incoming TCP UDP port... I change it, the test says it passes but 10 minutes later if fails if I try it again. Its hard to explain as it should work...

Uh... the test will fail if the port is in use by Azureus. That's probably what's happening. It passes the first test and Azureus uses the port. When you test the second time, the port is being used by Azureus in use so the second test fails.

Why are you testing the port every 10 minutes? If Azureus works, then it's fine.
