Why do I have to upgrade Adobe Flash Player every time I reboot Windows?

This apparently happens every time I reboot. Why in the world is this happening?

Flash (and adobe air or wtf its called) do update ridiculously often and in a very intrusive way.

If you don't restart your PC often I could see it happening.

I noticed this too... but I thought it was because I only reboot once a month or so.
That was going to be my question, how often do you reboot?

I shut down my pc every night so reboot daily and never have an issue. 98% of the time I do the update manually.

Adobe has adopted the "advertize via constant updates" strategy that made everyone come to hate Real Player. Adobe is well enough entrenched that they will likely get away with it.
